Did you know ? 
that Puerto Peñasco has one of the largest tidal swings in the world?  (Bay of Fundy, Canada is #1).  The best place to see the dramatic difference is in Cholla Bay, about a 10 minute drive west from Sandy Beach.  Great for finding sand dollars and clam digging, too!
